Performing Arts allows students to be creative, expressive and pushes them out of their comfort zone.
Having to work as part of a team to be successful is essential upon leaving education.
As well as this, in these lessons we focus on oracy, articulation and confidence, three skills which will set candidates apart in interviews and in the world of work. In this lesson students learn much more than just singing, dance and acting as they develop skills in these areas as well as lighting, sound, costume design, hair, makeup and set design.
The Performing Arts industry is international and with such a variety of roles and areas it is important to explore these and to develop an understanding and appreciation of different career prospects. The ability to evaluate, self reflect and consolidate literature with practical activity is invaluable.
